“Travel and storytelling are two of my passions that fit perfectly into broadcast. As a reporter, I want to go all over the world telling stories; whether it be beautiful and exotic or dark and desolate I want to go to as many places as I can and tell the story of the people. My goal is to report in a way that brings light to even the darkest of these and enlightens our world to the vast array of situations, societies and stories living within it.”
As a first semester sophomore broadcast major, I love the aspect of story telling and creativity in journalism. I hope to work my way up the totem pole of markets in the US, cover many international stories and share the Gospel in the process. Eventually, my goal is to create and produce a news broadcast fit for middle school children.
I was born and raised in Southern California, and my family has always been a Biola family, so to come here was a no brainer. I’m a sophomore now, and absolutely in love with my broadcast journalism major. I love stories: telling them, hearing them, and even being a part of them, and broadcast lets me do that while still giving me the possibility to meet new and exciting people! I’d love to become a reporter in the future and be able to use my platform to bring attention to ministry opportunities or social justice issues in the news.
I am a junior broadcast major from Napa Valley, CA. I grew up watching a lot of television, and believe that it is the perfect medium for storytelling. Everyone has a story to tell, and I want to make sure others have a chance to hear them. Sports are my passion, and I’d love to work behind the scenes at a major sports network someday
